Nordic China Healthcare Solutions represents a number of Nordic companies and organizations within the healthcare industry. We have the capability to present and supply individual products, services and processes, but we also have the capability to develop healthcare on a higher level, including process development, products and education.

The initiative to develop Nordic China Healthcare Solutions AB is supported by Vinnova, the Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems.

Swecare is a semi-Governmental foundation under the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs. Swecare constitutes a unique platform where academia, public and private sectors join forces for enhanced export and internationalization of  Swedish healthcare and life science. Members represent small and large organizations including e.g. Karolinska Institutet, SCA and Sweco.

Business Sweden’s purpose is to help Swedish companies reach their full international potential and foreign companies to invest and expand in Sweden. We offer our customers strategic advice and hands-on support. Business Sweden is owned by the Swedish Government and the industry.

Lennart Almstedt





Experience from corporate development of large and small companies in Sweden and internationally for over 30 years, including several CEO positions. In healthcare, management experience from many companies and organizations including Global General Manager of Health Solutions Division at Siemens-Nixdorf. Lennart holds a M.Sc. degree from Uppsala and Stanford University as well as a MBA degree from IMD in Switzerland.

Over 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry focusing on marketing and sales in senior positions, Nordic, EMEA and global level for Wyeth / Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson and Allergan, responsible for 5 launches in both the Nordic and Global, holds a Master of Science in Business and Economics as well as medical education.

Dr. Ci combines deep life Science background with market knowhow. Dr. Ci has Ph.D. from University of Alabama in Birmingham. Rich experience from life science companies such as National Technical Support Manager at Thermo Fisher and Sales Director at Admera Health.

PHD, CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst). Dr. Qiu has extensive experience in providing financing and investment services to major private and state enterprises and has experience as Vice President of CITI Bank Beijing Branch, Senior Vice President and CEO of CITIC Securities; Board member of Bank of China Investment Co., LTD, and  Finance Director at Bank of China International Securities


  • Stefan Vlachos – Head of the Innovation Center at Karolinska University Hospital. Managing innovation partnerships with industry partners and inhouse innovation programs. Over 20 years of experience from healthcare, IT/telecommunications and media industries.

  • Niclas Handfast – Executive Director and Partner at Nordic Growth Technology Partners, a large Private Equity Investment Adviser and General Partner with offices in Stockholm, Shenzhen, Hong Kong & Luxembourg. Long experience as board member and entrepreneur.

  • Anna Riby – Vice President Swecare. Promoting internationalization of Swedish health care and life science. Responsible for China and Asia markets. Previous experience from e.g. the Swedish Agency for Regional and Economic Growth and consultancy work.

  • Catharina Borgenstierna – CEO Camanio Care, a public company within human-friendly robotic technology and mixed reality products. Entrepreneur within healthcare. Previous experience from Siemens and Getinge Group as global Marketing Director. Member of Swecare board.

  • Mr. Wilson Yao – Founded Biochem Group 1993, a public company with market value over 2 BSEK. Over 20 years experience in the medical equipment industry. Member of China’s National Standardization Technical Committee. Member of the Board of Renmin University of China. Living in Beijing.

  • Bill Tunbrant – Wide international experience in the Med Tech and Health Care industry. Marketing-, CEO- and Director positions in both listed and not listed companies. Over 20 years’ experience from the Health Care industry in China. Living in Sweden and China.

  • Anders Krafft – Over 30 years experience from the medical technology industry and medical QA in China. Earlier as responsible for China at Siemens Medical and during last 20 year as founder of a distributor of Med Tech based in Beijing. Living in Sweden and China.

  • Baker & McKenzie – We have an ongoing dialogue with Baker McKenzie, a global legal firm with long track record from China.
